Your state of mind when you did not make the rapture; I have 2 verses of scripture that show directly what happens after the rapture; Daniel 12 1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. (This is the beginning of the Tribulation and the rapture.) 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, ***and some to shame and everlasting contempt.*** The last part of verse 2 shows that happens to those who are left behind; If you look at the word contempt it is actually; the Hebrew word; deraon; it is defined as aversion, abhorrence: meaning they will be repulsed. Linked with shame, repulsed; them knowing their plans did not work. They have been rejected, turned down. (The rapture is a judgment.) Those left behind will be in shame and rejection. But that is not all. If you look at Matthew 24 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. This is the evil servant that did not make the rapture outlined in verses, 36-51. (In verse 36 he is speaking of the day and hour no man knoweth. This is Jesus speaking of Feast of Trumpets, it is the feast day no man knoweth.) Verse 51 is right after the rapture takes place. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. This is a match to Daniel 12:2. They who were rejected (did not make the rapture) will be in great shame, repulsed to the point of weeping and gnashing of teeth. It might be time for some of you to get your repentance on. |
